Austin, Ann and I had a very fun time planning for this engagement session, after spending so many minutes throwing around different ideas, Austin suddenly decided wait, why not squeeze in a date night on a gondola? and from there we knew we had gotten it. we booked the gondola immediately, and decided to also shoot the African inspired portion after the "date night". Below are some of my favorite photos from the gondola engagement session of Austin and Ann.
Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing a church of Christ wedding....that means no dancing, no music with instruments just acapella type songs, no Toasts, no alcohol, I mean none of the "fun" stuff we are used to seeing in weddings. To say I was curious to see this wedding was an understatement.
On the different meetings I had with the amazingly awesome bride, she tried to explain to me what to expect and boy was I shocked... The wedding was fun, like more fun than alot of my previous weddings, and I heard music, didn't realize it was acapella for a while. The couple had time to mingle with their guests and generally have fun, This wedding was way more fun than I could have imagined. I cannot wait for the next church of Christ wedding I get to film.. Sarah and Brandon are awesome people, the silent looks between them, the eye contact, that speaks volume and everything else between this two, reminds me of why I love what I do, I pray their Love grows stronger each day, and will always be grateful for the opportunity to cover this wedding. |
